Amboseli safari packages

Amboseli National Park, set against the magnificent backdrop of Africa's highest peak — Mount Kilimanjaro — is one of Kenya's most iconic and photogenic safari destinations. At just 392 square kilometres, Amboseli punches well above its weight, offering some of the most intimate wildlife encounters in East Africa.

The park is world-renowned for its large herds of free-ranging elephants, often photographed against the snow-capped summit of Kilimanjaro in scenes that have come to symbolise the essence of African safari. Amboseli's elephants are among the best studied in the world, thanks to decades of research by the Amboseli Trust for Elephants, and they display a remarkable comfort around vehicles.

The park's diverse habitats — from dried-up lake beds and sulfur springs to lush swamps fed by Kilimanjaro's underground meltwater — support a rich variety of wildlife including hippos, buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, and over 400 bird species. Amboseli's open terrain and relatively flat landscape make it one of the easiest parks for game spotting, while the Observation Hill viewpoint provides panoramic vistas across the entire ecosystem.
